Concrete Flooring, The Rib and Block method, Spanslab

Since 1997 Spanslab has specialised in suspended concrete flooring making double story flooring a lot simpler and easier than in the past.

Suspended concrete flooring, quick installation and no complication.

Residential suspended concrete flooring can now be built by laying out the area with prestressed rib and blocks. Lay the blocks between the ribs, add some reinforcing, add your services channels, conduit and the concrete. Once set remove the props and plaster the ceiling. The rib and block technology makes a previously very expensive process more affordable for the average home builder. The Spanslab Rib and Block system can be used in virtually all suspended flooring, flat roofs etc. Building your double story home or extending your existing home upward is now more affordable and simpler to do. Spanslab specialise in this technology and will happily sub contract the suspended concrete floor from your existing building contractor or they will advise your builder and allow you to do the concrete floors yourself.
